Lady la Profeta, a renowned poet and filmmaker, is celebrated for her work's social impact. She is the 2023 World Poetry Slam Champion, alongside titles as the 2021 Colombian and 2018 Canadian Poetry Slam Champion. She has shared her voice globally through performances and workshops in countries like Canada, Colombia, Brazil, Belgium, Ghana, South Africa, Namibia, Mexico, Italy, Germany, Lativa and Estonia. Award-winning Author of La Sangre Llama and The Blood Calls, and composer of the album SER, Lady is also known for her award-winning short films Whiteface and Penumbra. Her art critiques society with the aim of fostering a safer, happier world, rooted in her belief in love's ultimate power.
